About the Name
Avada Kedavra, like almost everything else in my life, is entirely fandom related. This time it's (obviously) Harry Potter.
The name of the curse that made Harry Potter famous (in the books, anyway) Avada Kedavra is an 'unforgivable' curse - a death curse - used on James and Lily Potter (Harry's parents) and, of course, dear departed Cedric Diggory.
Anyone that knows me would know my penchant for all things dark - Vampires, Colours, Artwork - and could possibly have predicted the name I chose for the domain.
I'm happy to say that Avada-Kedavra.Net was the first variation of Avada-Kedavra listed. There was a .com and a .org out there somewhere, but they were all bought & paid well after my .net was registered! (I'm anal about that sort of thing, if you haven't picked up on that already.)
